What is a passkey?
A passkey is a secure, passwordless way to sign in. It is stored on your device (or in your password manager) and can't be phished or reused on other sites. Confirming a passkey always requires your biometrics or your device PIN.
Before you start
Your email address must be confirmed.
Your browser or app must support passkeys. If it doesn't, the Passkey section won't be shown.
How to add a passkey
Log in to your EarnPark account.
Go to Account → Security
Find the Passkey management section and click Add passkey.
Follow your device's prompt to confirm (fingerprint, face scan, or device PIN). You can also use a hardware security key, or scan the QR code to create the passkey on your phone.
Your passkey is ready to use. You'll get a "Passkey added" email confirmation.
Adding more passkeys
You can have up to 10 passkeys on one account — for example, one on your phone and one on your laptop.
Note: if your passkey is saved to iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager, it is already synced to your other devices, so a second passkey is often not needed. Trying to add a second passkey on the same device shows "This passkey is already registered."
Managing your passkeys
The list shows each passkey's Name, Type, when it was Added, and when it was Last used. You can Rename a passkey (up to 64 characters) to tell them apart.
Will my password and 2FA still work?
Yes. Adding a passkey doesn't disable any of your existing login methods — you can still sign in the way you do today.
Two things worth knowing:
When you sign in with a passkey, you won't be asked for your 2FA code — the passkey already confirms it's you.
2FA is still used to confirm sensitive actions such as withdrawals. A passkey replaces your login step, not transaction confirmation.
Removing a passkey
Open the same Security page, select the passkey, and click Delete. Nothing else changes: your other passkeys, password, and 2FA keep working, and you stay logged in on your devices. You'll get a "Passkey removed" email.
"Passkey added" email — what if it wasn't me?
Every new passkey triggers a confirmation email with a "Not you? Revoke access" link, valid for 24 hours. Use it only if you didn't add the passkey: it deletes that passkey, signs you out on all devices, and locks some account operations for 24 hours as a safety measure. If it was you, just ignore the link.
Troubleshooting
Issue | What to do |
"Your browser doesn't support passkeys" | Use an up-to-date browser, or the latest version of the EarnPark app. |
"This passkey is already registered" | This device already has a passkey for EarnPark; use another device or your security key. |
"Too many attempts. Please try again later" | Wait a minute and retry. |
No Passkey section at all | Check that your email is confirmed and that you're on a supported browser/app version; contact support if it persists. |
